How does leasing work?
Leasing allows you to use a vehicle without owning it. Throughout the agreed lease term, you have the right to use the leased vehicle.
In Switzerland, most leasing agreements – including those offered by AMAG Leasing – operate as indirect leasing. This involves a three-party agreement. In addition to you and the lessor, the vehicle supplier – i.e. your dealer – is also a party to the agreement. At the end of the lease term, the dealer is required to take back the vehicle at the pre-agreed residual value. This means you don’t have to worry about the vehicle’s resale value or trade-in risk. When your lease ends, you can simply choose your next vehicle and arrange a new lease.
